Wazir Khan Mosque About In the 17 th century, a Mosque was built in Lahore city known as Wazir Khan Mosque. This mosque was constructed during the region of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan together with much other building near to Shahi Hammam. In 1634 C.E, the Establishment of Wazir Khan mosque was started and in the year 1641, the construction of this beautiful Mosque was completed. This Mosque was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List. This is the most decorated Mosque of Mughal Era. This Mosque was famous for its complicated tile work. This type of tile work is known as Kashi-Kari.Under the supervision of e Aga Khan Trust for Culture and the Government of Punjab, this mosque is renovated in 2009.
